“To be an artist, you don’t have to compose music or paint or be in the movies or write books. It’s just a way of living. It has to do with paying attention, remembering, filtering what you see and answering back, participating in life.”
The Creative Monday Club is not a money making venture. There is just a one-off fee of £10 to join the membership.

Roughly once a month I’ll invite you to make a donation if you wish. These donations will be split 50/50 with half going to cover the costs of running the club, website, zoom, admin time etc.
The other half will go into the Creative Monday’s funding pot, to be donated to a creative project of our choice at the end of the year.

Every year I have the same resolution -
'make more time for creativity'
Perhaps you do too? This year I'm committing to doing that by hosting the Creative Monday Club.
Imagine what you could do with 100 hours of creativity in 2024?
It would be the equivalent of two and a half weeks’ work in a full-time job, or 5 weeks of working half time.
Would you commit to a big project?
Writing a book, sewing yourself a whole new wardrobe, learning to draw.
Or would it be time for all the little things you've been yearning to do?
Organising your photos into albums, making a cushion cover, framing and hanging pictures, writing thoughtful letters, even simply reading a book!
Every Monday, 2 hours of creativity

Doors open 6.25 to start at 6.30pm (uk time)
Introduce yourself in the chat and share what you’ll be working on
Work in companionable silence
Small groups 5-10 minutes to share how it's been
Finish on the dot, 8.30pm

There will be Monday’s when I am away and I hope a couple of the regular participants will offer to host on the those nights.

The possibilities are endless! People are sewing, reading, making puppets, playing the clarinet, singing (we are muted!), writing, sorting out their art materials, making shines… come along and and to the list!

You can commit to coming every week or drop in whenever you have a Monday night free.

It’s no problem to arrive late. When we spot you in the waiting room we’ll let you in. Introduce yourself in the chat and let us know what you are working on.

I plan for it to run indefinitely, or as long as there are people who want to turn up and make stuff together.
