FALL IN LOVE WITH LIFE AGAIN

WABI-SABI
MONTH
RETREAT

A 28 Day Self-paced Retreat

Bringing together teachings on the 3 lakshana, the 3 vimokshas and the beauty of wabi-sabi.

28 separate modules to use in your own way, a week’s intensive retreat, a month’s retreat as part of your everyday life, or as and when you have time to practice.

Everything changes.
Nothing is ever complete.
Real satisfaction seems always out of reach.

These are the harsh truths of human life.
And yet…

What if we radically changed our expectations?
Opening the door to a life free from hopes and fears.

You’ve revealed the laksanas with such creativity, I have always wanted to explore their meaning - often though they are presented as a flat fact about the nature of existence - here you show their true flowing, interconnected nature - that they are a means of looking and feeling our way to a deeper truth. Really liked the mix of poetry, imagery, video, talks and meditations - a jewel with many facets reaching out on many levels. The zoom meetings offered a way of us sharing the experience as we absorbed the journey.

This course brings together the Buddha’s radical teaching on how to be free and the beauty of wabi-sabi.

When we look deeply into our own experience of impermanence, not-self, and imperfection, we find doorways to freedom.

Letting go

I want you to know how impactful this course has been for me . You’ve bought these concepts into a form that is highly digestible and deeply resonant . I’ve gotten SO much out of this and plan to go back over bits that I loved, and bits like the walking meditations that I simply ran out of time to do.

I liked there being no strict timetable, no tight deadlines, no heavy reading and time to catch up and re- visit sections at my own pace. I loved the variety of content - talks, meditations, creativity. This whole month has felt like a beautiful gift, with layers to unwrap each day

I think you’ve pretty much perfected the art of offering deep yet simple and spacious dharma offerings and reflections. They didn’t feel overwhelming even in the midst of a working week and various family complications - in fact the perspective of the dharma really helped with that, very integrating.
