Qigong - moving meditation

Join the Red Ladder Qigong community for live, guided qigong sessions — gentle movement to relax and reconnect body, heart, and mind.

This autumn Dhammasiri will be offering led qigong sessions on Zoom. Guided by the breath, we'll move through the whole body: softening the joints, releasing stiff muscles and clearing out old, stuck energy. As we relax and let go, we open up space — and where there is space, energy can flow and we start to feel more alive.

Each session will be about 45 mins, with around 35 mins of movement.

You don't have to sign up to the classes, just join when you can. Make sure you’ve signed up to the mailing list below and you’ll be receiving an email with a Zoom link the day before each class.

Preparing for your class

You don't need to be spiritual, or believe in any of the theory behind it, for qigong to work. Qigong has been practiced for both health and spiritual growth for thousands of years — and it's for anyone.

No experience, no equipment, no mat required. Just bring yourself, a bit of curiosity and a quiet corner to move in.

Most movements are done standing but a lot of them can also be done seated. The main thing is where the attention goes, even just visualising the movements will have an effect.

We'll meet on zoom, I'll say a few words to begin and then we'll start to flow. You can keep your camera on or off as you wish.
