Travel and what to bring
We’ll provide: Bedding, sheets and towels, also shampoo and soap. Meditation gear. Breakfast lunch and dinner.
What to bring: If you’d like to help in the garden (we’d love that) do bring some working clothes. Other than that pack for the countryside.
You’ll need indoor shoes or slippers. We’ll be moving between the two houses, just a few metres apart, so perhaps some shoes that are easy to slip on and off.
We have a sauna with a cold outdoor shower, you might want some waterproof slippers to go between the shower and the sauna. It’s fine to be naked in the sauna, or bring a swimming costume if you prefer. Men and women will sauna separately.
Optional - earplugs (the birds are singing so loud!), eye masks (it’s light quite early).
Please let us know of any physical limitations you might have, also any allergies.
Travel
Coming from outside Sweden -
Nearest big airport is Copenhagen. Then travel by train via Malmö to Tomelilla, 1.5 hours. We'll pick you up in Tomelilla at 5pm on the day the retreat starts.
There is a smaller airport, Malmo Sturup, which is just 45 mins away by taxi. The taxi costs roughly €100. The journey by public transport is a little longer than if you fly into Copenhagen.
Download the Skånetrafiken App, it will be in English. Search your journey from CPH Airport to Tomelilla. You can buy your ticket on the app. From the plane follow the signs to train or ‘tåg’. You soon come to platform 1, spår 1, trains to Malmö/Sweden (Sverige).
All these trains stop at Malmö Hyllie, the first stop after the bridge, which is where you’ll change trains. From Malmö Hyllie the trains to Tomelilla are every 30 mins or so, the app will tell you which platform you need to be on, and the end destination is usually Simrishamn.

Coming from within Sweden -
By public transport, make your way to the train station at Tomelilla. There are regular trains from Malmö or buses from Lund. We'll pick you up at 5pm on the day the retreat starts. Alternatively make your way to Lövestad, just a 5min drive from us and we’ll pick you up there. See https://www.skanetrafiken.se/ for local trains and buses.
If you are coming by car we’ll send directions.
